Ultraman's wheels for rock-splitting action !

This is another toy coming straight from the Japanese universe of Ultraman (Ultraman Taro to be exact): behold the Bermider II tank ! (with wind-up key)

Looks like the Mole from the Thuncerbirds but on esteroids... and yes, the design of the box is way cooler than the design of the toys itself... but at least it has a spark mechanism behind an orange translucid panel at the back.

Apolo 1 - Airgam

A modular space base, all in one neat package (well, hmmm. 4 packages really - this is the nº1).
As you can see there are a lot of antennas in Spanish space design from the 70ies...  and a lot of colors too !

The set also comes with cards showing the other sets and some different space base building techniques... all you need really for that perfect condo at the borders of the Sea of Tranquility !

The astronauts / spacemen are specific to these sets and are very nicely done (even though the ones I found did have some limb-loosing issues). All in all a very funky playset and I am eager to locate the other ones to make the mother of all space bases !

Citroen's success was widely popular in Japan where the 2CV has a cult following... Here a smaller (tin) version - maybe from a car carrier or a larger set... No markings except for "Japan" at the bottom of the toy.

Just the toy that Kenner should have made but never did. I would really have loved to have these as a kid and battle it against my Star Wars figurines ! Even the tongue sticks out ! How cool is that ?

These are definitely the first cyclist toy figurines I have with modern helmets on... Didn't they use to have the Tour de France with little caps on their heads in the past ?

Just like the promotional caravan now... it's gone... forget about it. No more Orangina-shaped cars following the cyclists anymore and distributing stickers and other freebies to the spectators...
