Long necked Spidey ?

Spiderman (?), China, 2010 ?

No people, it is not IA. It is a toy I found at my usual hunting ground (Feira da ladra in Lisbon).

Either the designer of this thing smoked something he should not have or there has been a crossover between a spider and a giraffe. No one will never know.

Strangely enough, it takes me back to my childhood super hero style. The major amusement park in the Netherlands, de Efteling, has a similar figure called Langnek...

Wonder Woman's ride ?

Wonder Woman car, Corgi Juniors, 1979, UK

This one was based on a real vehicle (or at least prototype) : the 1969 Autobianchi A112 Runabout, designed by Bertone.

Corgi, Matchbox and Mebetoys made a number of versions in their bigger 1/43 scale, but none for Wonder Woman, she only got access to the smaller version in the Corgi Junior line in approx. 1/64.

Strangely enough, I don't recall seeing Lynda Carter in one of those... An I remember seeing her in an invisible plane !

Supermobile, McFarlane, China, 2024

How cool is that ? McFarlane finally got the correct Supermobile out, nothing like that 1980's thingy Kenner tried to sell us in their Super Powers line in the 1980's !

And yes, I know it's Captain A. flying the damn thing... But really, why would the Man of Steel need a vehicle anyhow ? He has a cape... a cape !

With Corgi toys for size...

Just picked these 2 at the Collect-Hit toyfair in Brussels (Groot Bijgaarden) of a hardcore Batman collector (thank you sir). I have wanted to add these a long time ago to the collection of original vintage Batman toys, so this made my day !

No markings - 1970's

This one got a string through his head, a shield and a gun. Not exactly sure where it came from or what it is supposed to represent, but I can remember these as prizes you could get as kids at the village fair duck fishing stands...
