This toy might be the quintessential beach pull-along one could encounter on the shores of the North Sea in Belgium. in the 1970's. It represented a dying breed, the big Atlantic cruiseships. This one has a certain flair of a famous one, the SS United States...

Monkey Business

This one is a strange toy indeed. A tin wind-up pickup with a (fez on his head-) little monkey sitting on his throne on the back wearing some type of a pole (flag ? banner ?).

The doors have decals saying "Circo Apollo, Questafera. Grande Spettacolo". I have seen a similar one with a seal / sea lion on the back, without the chair. 

Were there other animals as well ? Was this produced for a real circus as give-away or was this simply part of the assortment of INGAP (Padova - Italy) ?

Anyone having more information about this toy please let me know.

Spooky celluloid doll

Another find at the fleamarket... someone knows more about this ? Material is very brittle (maybe celluloid ?) and the arms are fixed by an elastic cord.

Another strange Feira da Ladra find... This one looked first like it was made out of rubber, but apparently it is a ceramic figurine... no markings.
