These little sets from the 70ies date back to a time when moonwalks were still shown on the television sets around the world each night. Then the Apollo missions ended... and a lot of the magic too.

This is the retro color version of the new Medicom Sofubi of our favorite robot ! They really went old school with this toy and took as model the color scheme of the Popy Jumbo robot of the 70ies. Sweet!

Toymaker Popy sold these little robots carded in different colors under "Bandai Investment" logo... The original was of course white, but this gives us collectors quite a new challenge trying to collect them all.

The same model was sold with the saucer by Popy as well.
