This is a rather strange toy-line I stumbled upon in the early 1990's (old stock from Belgian sea-side toystore...). Were there other sets available ? Vehicles as shown on the cards ? The whole concept is rather generic and ressembles the plain looking wooden art-dolls that can be moved in a number of poses.

    Which I believe were also issued by Manurba in Germany, I've seen other, similar systems and the 'objects' in the artwork look as if they are pointing to a similar range of sets? Albeit with some more 3D or pole-like elements.

  2. Yes Hugh - it seems a lot like originating or compatible with that same toyline... a cheaper way to make plastic renderings of the pre-war Meccano metallic toy-sets ? Lego Technic made some pretty similar figurines much later on...
