This is the first raygun ever produced as a toy. Call it the origin, number one or whatever else you may fancy. All I know was it made a big bang (lol) right from the start and sold in great numbers when it was launched in 1934. Now, it is still making "BANG"' 80 years later...  Read more about the story of this toy here.

The cocking mechanism is quite special, but still works after all this time !

The slot on the back is a mystery to me. Some fellow members on Alphadrome suggested this may be a parachute toy... About 6.5cm high.

Red, wet and Grey !

This is one of the more uncommon rayguns. Not a lot known about it, except that you fill it through the front lens piece.

When pulling the trigger, the little red barrel retracts and water squirts out.

Simple, effective weapon of choice for any kid close to a bucket of water or a swimming pool !

Robocon flag game

I have never really understood how this thing was supposed to work (all instructions are in Japanese...), but this is the old version of the Robocon flag game (for the modern one, see below). This one came with little flags (for the robot to hold (not shown - if you have a set of these please let me know) and larger flags (in vinyl and plastic) for the kids to mimic whatever the robot did and said.

Dogtanian and the Three Muskehounds (Spanish: D'Artacan y los Tres Mosqueperros; Japanese: ワンワン三銃士 [Wan Wan Sanjuushi; lit.,The Woof Woof Three Musketeers]) is a Spanish–Japanese anime adaptation of the classic Alexandre Dumas story of d'Artagnan and The Three Musketeers. The funny thing is that each country retained the music score by Guido et Maurizio De Angelis, so the tune itself is known all across Europe...
