Sometimes I find toys at the fleamarket here in Lisbon (Feira da Ladra) that just ooze kitsch and nostalgia. This felt-doll is one of these. Apple? check! Fig leaves the Vatican could be proud of? check!

I guess these were the toys that were right for a time where people were tired of wars and just wanted to feel free.
